Are Super-Successful Different?

Are Super-Successful Different?

We always want to know the success secrets of super-successful people. We are inquisitive to find out what they actually do, how they actually do, when they actually do, what differently they do from that of others which give them the title of super successful. They are like any other human beings who have the same number of hours which we all have but what separates them from the rest of us is the way they think, work and live differently. Here are 12 of the traits super-successful people are likely to exhibit.

Having gone through these points / lines in some books and also being convinced, believing it thoroughly I thought of sharing the same with you.

1. They like their vocation. They are passionate and love their jobs immensely. If they could start their careers over again, they would choose the same or a very similar road in which they are in.

2. They prefer work to hobbies. In their spare time / leisure, they tend to enjoy mental activities, like reading, over sports or other activities. In other words, they consider their work as a hobby and enjoy what they do.

3. They are socially outgoing. They are completely extroverts. They don't bemoan the fact that they don't know anyone at a party. Instead, they proactively engage in introducing themselves and enjoy in the company of others.

4. The are extremely optimistic, but practical. They have a positive "can-do" attitude. However, they will take a proven route rather than search for a pie-in-the sky answer.

5. They still believe in Horatio Alger / Dirubhai Ambani. They believe the dream of rags-to-riches is still possible.

6. They are very healthy and seldom require sick days. They take care of their health. Their maxim is 'If money is lost, nothing is lost, if time is lost, something is lost and if health is lost everything is lost.

7. They were not model children. They were usually leaders as youngsters and take pride in being a leader. They slowly and steadily, consciously or unconsciously inculcate the attributes of leadership from a very young age.

8. They think they are lucky and that they will continue to be lucky. They do their best and leave the rest.

9. They concentrate well, enabling them to focus on "the business at hand." They believe that a long-range focus creates a straight furrow and detest concentrating on daily trivia which leaves one off course.

10. They draw on intuition as well as rational information when making decisions. They believe in making and taking decisions.

11. They know people of all social levels and have extremely large number of acquaintances, which means they have many useful contacts.

12. They don't get bogged down by minute details, but strive to see the big picture.

IT ISN'T JUST FAME AND FORTUNE THAT SEPERATES THE SUPER-SUCCESSFUL FROM THE REST OF US.

Having all these characteristics and attributes does not guarantee one to be super-successful, but all the same it's a great place to start.
